Common questions
What should I check before calling for AC repair?
Confirm the thermostat is set to cool, replace a dirty filter, check that the breaker is on, and look for a clogged condensate drain line, a common cause of shutdowns in humid Florida weather.
Do AC contractors need a state license in Florida?
Yes. Air conditioning contractors are licensed by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board (Class A, B or C). Verify the license on MyFloridaLicense.com before work starts.
